so, you know, i never post in livejournal, but dang girl, lollapalooza was fucking amazing. in order to clarify the significance of this post, i went to australia + new zealand for 2 weeks earlier this summer and i didn't even make a post about that.
so it was pretty mindblowing. it was so hot and crowded but i, along with anjali & jake, insisted on going to the front for the best bands, which was completely worth it. the flaming lips and violent femmes were my favorite shows. cursive and broken social scene and lady sovereign were really good too. i'm going to write a detailed summary but don't read it cuz you'll get bored and i'll be embarassed
